Activities and Getting Involved
Activities for women, men, singles and couples are held at different times.
Participate in as many as you like.

We have two. The women's bookclub meets the 1st Tuesday of each month in a clubhouse, home or at a park. The mixed (men & women) bookclub is starting in September.
Our idea of "culture" is quite expansive and may include sports events (or viewing parties), theater, movies, concerts, trips to Chicago (on free museum day or otherwise) or area or regional gardens or house tours, and art-related classes or activities. Activities this last year included watercolor classes, lectures, a bar burger tasting tour, concerts, a Kentucky Derby party and a March Madness pool.
Volunteer and make friends while doing it. SWMIN aims for at least one Club activity per month volunteering with local charities or agencies.

Men meet for breakfast every Friday morning at local area restaurants. Locations rotate, as organized by the Activity Chair. RSVPs are required to make sure sufficient table space is available.
Women's Coffee (Breakfast)
Women meet for coffee (or breakfast) on the second Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. The location varies, but since Covid is often at an area park (weather permitting).
Other activities include Euchre and game nights, and a variety of pop-up activities based on members interest and what is going on in the community at the time.
